Demasiadas opciones - Stop giving me choices!

Español
English

So, this is the state of the unión of things around here:

- The order I placed with Ray Stitch 2 weeks ago finally arrived yesterday (!!). It must have gone around the world and back, I don’t know. However, no complaints here because finally I got what my little heart desired: Colette’s Macaron – OH YEAH! I’ve been daydreaming about this darling pattern for a while, especially after I saw this version of Sew Happy Clothes.

- Talking about SHC, I love, love this version of V1162 made in a knit, and I have already pattern and fabric. I’ve read that it takes long (those flowers!) so it’ll have to wait till April.

- The bodice of the vintage dress is once again on Patty. She’s staring at me with accusingly eyes for a week already. So, yes, I *have* to finish this one, because I’m stubborn, proud and my sewing self steem depends on this (ok, not really, but it’d be great). And most important: my serger is still threaded in a dark color and this is the last Project before I move on to a spring palette.

- Yesterday I had a mini anxiety crisis, just thinking of all the cool things I want to sew and the lack of time – brrr. After going through my pattern collection one more time (now, that’s a hobby!) I reached some conclusions: 90% of my patterns are dresses, specifically short sleeved dresses. I’m not going to fight it, just buy a few cardis in spring colors and start sewing like a mad woman. And some skirts, for the instant satisfaction factor.

- Also, I’m tired of the blog jinx so no more talking about future projects till they’re ready. MMM11 is around the corner and I can’t afford any UFOs right now. All I can say s that there are some Vogues in the pipeline.

Today is the last chance to enter the giveaway, have you entered yet? Good luck!

I can’t stop humming this song, for obvious reasons:

  2. I have this blog problem too - every time I tell people what I'm planning to sew next, next some other projects creeps up and grabs me! But then this sewing is a hobby, just for fun, so I don't think we should beat ourselves up over it :-).
