Mi madre dice a menudo que tengo manos de mantequilla y la verdad es que tengo una tendencia innata a ser torpe. No, no es algo subjetivo, los hechos hablan por sí mismos. Sin ir más lejos, el pasado domingo se me cayó al suelo la caja de alfileres, no una vez, no dos, sino 3 VECES.

Por suerte mi amiga Eva, la que me regala el Burda Kids en plan indirecta directísima, también tuvo el acierto de regalarme un imán para alfileres que se caen ¡Gracias! Son de la marca Prym, pero investigando este post he visto que hay de varios colores y marcas ¿quién lo hubiera dicho? Éste de Ray Stitch es adorable.

Me encanta coser los domingos con buena luz, es como si todo tuviera solución de repente. Y el cambio de hora me afecta positivamente, me cunde mucho más: el Pastille está listo con falta de hacer fotos, otro vestido con un péplum casi a punto y he rescatado del olvido unos UFOs del verano pasado con el firme propósito de terminarlos.

I’m clumsy. Very, very, extremely clumsy. Last Sunday I dropped the pin box not once, not twice but 3 TIMES.

Luckily, my friend Eva, the one who gave me Burda Kids as a “present” last Christmas (hints!), also gave me a Prym pin magnet – Thank you! Apparently there are other brands that sell these pin magnets (who knew? don’t you love the interwebs?) like this adorable one from Ray Stitch:

I love sewing on Sundays, especially if they’re sunny and full of natural light. And with the daylight savings time it feels like I’m more productive: the Pastille dress is done and ready to be worn, a peplum dress is in the latest stage (zipper, hem) and I’ve rediscovered a moving box full of last summer UFOs. I just had an “April = UFO busting!” moment, we’ll see.
